Does your PC take a long time to shut down ?

Hey if you are having this problem the solution is very simple. But be careful when you are going to do this,Because you are about to deal with the registries and it is not recommended that you do anything else.

Follow these steps and surely you will see the difference go to Run (Windows + r) and then type regedit and press enter.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > CONTROL PANEL > DESKTOP > WaitToKillAppTimeout

Double click on it and set the value to something like 5000.You might be having a value like 20000 meaning in Milli seconds , so that is 20 seconds.By setting the value to 5000 the machine will shutdown in 5 seconds depending on other criteria

Problem updating your Virus guard and Unable to Access Sites

Are you having the same problem which i had few months ago. Then don't worry because i went through the same hazard and found a way to get rid of it.This seems to be a trojan which affects the functionality of your Virus guard and also does not let us browse certain sites. So it's obvious that your virus guard is useless since it cant protect your machine from intruders.

Fix is to download AVAST.EXE.you can download AVAST.EXE from here.

After downloading the S/W run it and install it.After the installation it will ask to do a boot upscan.Chose Yes and restart your machine. When the PC is started it will prompt to scan and will start by scanning your C:/ Drive. If you are not sure about any file do not delete any especially files in Windows or Program files. You can move them to the chest and continue with the rest.Remember scanning can take a while. So my advice for you is to wait till it finishes the C:\ drive and escape the scan and statup Windows. Then do a manual scanning on the rest of the drives and your done with the intruders.

Also it is recommended that you clean any spyware on your machine. You can do it by downloading Spyware Doctor.I have some keys with me.Contact me if you need them.

Cheers
